Customization System

Barber shops allow you to fully customize your character's hair, facial hair, and makeup features through a detailed adjustment menu.

  • Appearance Customization: Barber shops let you customize your character's hair and facial details exactly to your liking.
  • Full Menu Access: You can customize the following elements:
    • Hair: Hair, Hair Color, Highlight Color, Hair Fade, Hair Texture.
    • Beard & Body: Facial Hairs, Facial Color, Chest Hair.
    • Eyebrows: Eyebrows, Eyebrows Color, Highlight Color.
    • Makeup & Details: Makeup, Blush, Lipstick (each comes with First Color and Second Color options).
  • Free Preview: You can try out any combination from the menu on your character without having to buy anything beforehand.
  • Ownership System: Once you purchase a style, you own it permanently. You can switch back to it later without paying a second time.
  • Saved Looks: Barber shops also grant you access to your saved looks menu, where you can load your previously configured styles.
  • Comparison: They also allow you to compare multiple styles and colors before finalizing your choice.

  • You can freely walk inside the barber shop, and to open the menu interface and start customizing, you just need to press the E key while inside.
  • The menu consists of several sections and categories (Image #2).
  • On the left side, you will see the main categories (Chest Hair, Makeup, Hair, etc.) where you can pick your desired model.
  • On the right side of each category, there is a Click to expand button that expands or collapses the list of options (models or color palettes).
  • Under each expanded category, you will find a color palette (First Color / Second Color), and under the models, there is a slider bar to adjust the intensity or opacity of the selected element.
  • Styles or colors you have already purchased will be clearly marked in the list with a FREE tag under them, meaning you can re-apply them anytime for free.
  • At the bottom of the left menu, you will find navigation and action buttons, Next to proceed to the next customization pages, Back to return to the previous page, and Pay to check out.
  • In the center of the screen, next to your character, there is a vertical icon bar (t-shirt, hat, mask, glasses, etc.) that allows you to temporarily remove or put back your clothes to clearly see your hair, beard, or tattoos while editing.
  • On the right side of the screen, there is a help overlay displaying the camera controls (used to rotate the character, adjust camera height, or zoom in on the face/body).

Look Comparison

  • The first button (glove icon) allows you to compare multiple styles or color combinations

Barber Extended

  • You will see a button labeled "1", a button labeled "2", and a final comparison button.
  • To compare two looks, first select the first hair/beard style on your character, then click button 1.
  • Next, configure the second style you want to compare it against, then click button 2.
  • To view the side-by-side comparison, click the final comparison button (Image #4).

  • The second button in the top-right menu (mouse icon) toggles the camera control guide overlay (Image #5).
  • Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out on the face or body.
  • Hold left-click and move the mouse to rotate your character and view the back of the head.
  • You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to perform the same camera movements.

Equip/Unequip Accessories

  • The hanger icon button allows you to quickly unequip clothes or accessories (such as glasses, masks, or hats) to properly check how your new haircut or makeup looks without any overlapping items (Image #6).

Angle Adjustment & Saved Styles

  • The box icon button allows you to shift the menu UI angle on your screen (Image #7 - left side).
  • The final button opens your saved looks archive, allowing you to select, preview, edit, share, or delete custom hair and beard combinations you saved in the past (Image #7 - right side).

Purchasing

  • Once you are satisfied with all your look adjustments, click the Pay button at the bottom of the menu.
  • A confirmation dialog will pop up asking how you wish to pay, giving you the choice between cash or bank money.
  • You will also have two additional options, Discard to cancel all changes made (reverting to your old look) or Cancel to return to the shop menu in case you forgot something, keeping all current modifications intact (Image #8).
  • Finally, a prompt will show up asking whether you would like to save your new look into your personal saved styles list.
