Server Rules

Important

By registering an account on our servers you agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use, the Privacy Policy as well as full compliance with all the rules mentioned here.

Interpreting the rules abusively or in the player's unfair advantage is not allowed. The staff has the right to interpret the rules according to context, to ensure their correct and fair application.

The staff reserves the right to modify these rules at any time and as often as deemed necessary, the modifications being announced or not depending on how it considers fit. The player assumes the obligation to constantly check the rules and to comply with any new modification made.

Accounts

1. Account Security

1.1 The account is registered on the rockstar license of your GTA 5 account, without being asked for an email or password. For this reason it is important to take care of your rockstar account, and losing it will also lead to losing access to the account on our server.

1.2 Equally, the cfx.re account that you connect in the FiveM client will be associated upon connecting to the server with your account and you will be able to use it when connecting to our website onerpg.net.

  • connecting to the website is not possible without a cfx.re account
  • losing access to the cfx.re account will lead to the impossibility of using the website.

1.3 We also associate the discord ID with your account when you have the discord client open and you have connected to the server, an ID which will be used to identify you on our discord server and to grant the specific discord roles.

1.4 We do not assume any responsibility for losing access to the rockstar account, losing access to the cfx.re account, sharing the account with other people or other similar situations. If possible and we consider it appropriate, we may offer a helping hand under certain conditions, but do not rely on this.

Important

The staff will never ask you for the login data of the rockstar account, the cfx.re account or any other accounts you own. Do not give this data to anyone.

The only official channels are the website, the ONE RPG server and the official discord server.

2. Account Names

2.1 It is mandatory that the account name complies with the following conditions:

  • be decent and respectful, without offensive, vulgar, racist or discriminatory connotations.
  • not be identical or very similar to another player's name, especially that of a staff member, to avoid confusion.
  • the use of names that imitate or suggest belonging to the staff is forbidden (ex: Admin, Leader, Staff etc.).
  • not contain names of real brands, companies or known trademarks, nor variants very close to them.
  • the name must be easy to read and identify, without excessive combinations of symbols or meaningless characters.

Failure to Comply

The sanction will be according to the gravity of the offence:

  • in case of minor offences (ex: name hard to read, excessive combinations of characters, name too similar to another player's), the player will be asked to change the name. In case of refusal or non-compliance, the player will receive a new name in accordance with the rules at the admin's choice and:
    • 1 day license ban at the first offence.
    • 7 day license ban at the second offence.
    • permanent license ban at the third offence.
  • in case of very serious offences, made intentionally (ex: vulgar name, very racist or name chosen to imitate a staff member), the sanction will be permanent license ban, without prior warning.

The staff reserves the right to decide the gravity of the offence and the sanction applied in each case.

License sanctions are applied to all the player's characters.

3. Multiple Accounts

3.1 You can own multiple accounts (characters) on the server within the limits of the number of character slots you have available. We provide you with 2 free slots, allowing the creation of two different characters and the possibility to extend this number from the game shop.

3.2 Most violations of the server rules are sanctioned at the license level, which means that the sanction applies to all characters owned by the player. On the other hand, violations of faction-specific rules are usually sanctioned only on the character involved in that faction.

4. Activity (Played Hours)

4.1 Played hours represent the time when a player is active on the server and are used by the staff to evaluate their involvement and presence.

Rules:

  • the activity must reflect the real presence of the player at the computer.
  • it is forbidden to use any methods to artificially increase played hours, including:
    • blocking keys or using macros for repetitive actions.
    • moving as a passenger for long periods of time without being present at the PC.
    • any other method that simulates activity without real involvement.
    • the use of autoclickers or similar programs (!).
    • the use of mods/scripts that automatically repeat actions (!).

The staff has the right to perform checks, interacting directly with the player where possible to confirm that they are present at the computer.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the rules mentioned above will be sanctioned with community service 150 garbage collected.
The rules marked with (!) will be sanctioned as illegal mods with the sanctions provided for that category of rules.

The staff reserves the right that in certain more serious situations to delete the played hours of the player from the last few days.

5. Activity for Properties

5.1 Due to the limited number of properties available on the server (houses and businesses), owning them is conditioned by a minimum level of activity.

Activity Conditions

  • the staff reserves the right to verify the activity of the players who own properties.
  • players who, in the last 30 days, have not accumulated a minimum of 10 played hours on the account that owns the property, risk having it confiscated following a check.
  • for properties purchased with Gold, activity is checked over a period of 60 days, with the same minimum of 10 played hours required on the owner's account.

Information

Attempts to evade these rules by temporarily transferring properties to other players or simulating a sale to mask inactivity do not guarantee avoidance of sanctions, and the staff may decide to confiscate the property if such practices are found.

Activity checks are carried out periodically, not daily, and may take place without prior warning.

Trades

On the server only transactions involving in-game goods and money are allowed, within the limits established by the rules.

  • loans of money or goods are made at your own risk. It is not recommended to offer sums or goods that you cannot do without, as there is a risk of not being able to recover them.
  • do not encourage begging and do not give money to players who ask, as they may try to take advantage of your goodwill.
  • do not fall for trust-gaining type scams, in which a player asks you for money or goods "to test you", promising they will return them later.
  • do not transfer money or goods to players who claim to be other people (ex: friends, acquaintances) on other accounts, without clearly verifying their identity.
  • do not give money to players who claim they need a small amount more to buy an item (ex: car), as this is a frequent scam method.

Failure to Comply

Scams are not tolerated. Players who resort to such practices may be sanctioned with license ban between 5 days and permanent, depending on the gravity of the case and the staff's decision.

In most cases, goods lost as a result of a scam cannot be recovered.

The staff reserves the right to:

  • return the goods obtained through scam, if this is possible.
  • delete goods or values from the guilty player's account, to compensate for the damage caused.

  • in case voice chat is relevant, only video proofs are accepted in which the reported person or persons can be clearly seen and it is clear who is speaking.

This type of player:

  • constantly follows other players to find minor mistakes.
  • makes excessive complaints for any offence, regardless of severity.
  • reports situations that did not affect them and did not create real discomfort.
  • uses the complaint system for personal satisfaction, not to maintain a fair environment.

What is not considered Posthunting?

  • reporting rule violations that:
    • had a direct impact on you.
    • clearly affected you or caused you damage.
  • reporting players who:
    • abuse serious bugs.
    • use cheats.

Players catalogued by the staff as posthunters will have their active complaints rejected and will be sanctioned with 7 days web suspend.

Exceptions

29. The Right to Exceptions

29.1 The rules cover most situations, however there may be unforeseen cases where staff intervention is necessary to maintain the balance of the game.

29.2 The staff reserves the right to make exceptions to the rules, when the situation requires it, to protect:

  • the gaming experience.
  • the affected players.

29.3 Level 6 admins have the right to apply:

  • sanctions different from those provided in the rules.
  • sanctions adapted to the situation, at their own discretion.

These decisions will be made without abuse of power, in the interest of the server and the community.

29.4 Level 6 admins can grant approvals to other admins to apply sanctions different from the rules, if the situation requires it.
