Escape System

If you want to leave the penitentiary ahead of schedule, you can execute a jailbreak. There are two distinct methods available to breach facility security, depending on the items in your possession. For both options, you must navigate to the marked locations and use the ALT key to interact.

Escape Cooldown

In the event that you escape, get caught again by law enforcement, and find yourself back behind bars, you cannot immediately break out. A mandatory system restriction applies: you can only attempt to escape again after 30 minutes have passed since your last attempt or recent re-incarceration.

Method 1: Keycard Escape

If you successfully acquired an access card, you must head towards the specific electronic evacuation point. This location is highlighted on your main map or mini-map by a custom red rectangle blip containing a black key:

1. Physically move to the secured doors indicated by the red key map marker shown above.
2. Hold down the ALT key (targeting eye system) focused on the panel and select the option to use your Keycard to unseal the exit path.

Method 2: Explosive Escape

If you do not hold an access card but possess breaching gear, you can target the perimeter weak spots. The exact location where you need to set up the charge is highlighted on your main map or mini-map by a custom red explosive icon blip:

1. Walk directly to the gates or perimeter fence section flagged by the red marker shown above.
2. Hold down the ALT key over the structure zone and choose the interaction option to plant and prime the Explosive device.

Post-Escape Steps: The Tunnel and Identity Wipe

After successfully breaking through the prison boundary using either path, your operation is not yet over. To permanently drop your wanted status, you must complete the following mandatory steps:

1. Navigating the Tunnel

Immediately after breaching the outer perimeter, you must transition through a designated tunnel to lose your trail, drop visibility from aerial searches, and safely bypass incoming law enforcement units.

2. The Extraction Point (Gas Station)

Once you emerge from the tunnel, move quickly toward the designated Gas Station hub. This serves as the safehouse zone where you can tap into the underground network to clean your status.

3. Forging a New Identity

Once you arrive at the gas station, approach the interaction point and press the E key to trigger the hidden terminal layout:

• Service Fee: Forging and updating your status matrix requires a direct payment of $5,000.
• System Outcome: Clicking the CONFIRM button completes the cycle. Your previous prison record will be completely cleared, resetting your legal slate and removing all active pursuit flags.
