Paintball Arena¶
Paintball Arena is a dedicated competitive venue where players can engage in fast-paced combat matches, offering the perfect environment to practice shooting skills and reflexes safely.
Entering the Arena¶
To join an ongoing match or set up a new session, head over to the arena building location on the map (image #1):
- Walk up to the main entrance doors of the facility.
- Press the F key to pull up the main interaction dashboard (Open Paintball).
Interface Overview¶
Once inside the dashboard UI (image #2), you can navigate through the available features via the Category List on the left panel:
- Lobby: Displays the active Lobby List where you can view, search, and instantly join open matches created by other players.
- Market: Opens the equipment and weapon skin catalog available for arena combat (image #3).
- Create Lobby: Opens the match creation control center to configure a custom instance session.
Creating a Custom Lobby¶
Clicking the Create Lobby tile (image #4) opens the hosting suite where you can modify the match parameters before deploying:
- Select the Map: Choose from several unique arena maps displayed as image cards at the top layout.
- Identity & Privacy: Customize the Lobby Name or add an optional Lobby Password to lock the instance for private crew training.
- Rules & Limits: Adjust the round Lobby Time, cap the Lobby Max Players, toggle the Game Mode, restrict the active Weapon, and enable or disable Player Blips on the radar.
Once your configuration setup is finalized, launch the room by clicking the green + Create a Lobby button at the bottom.
Pre-Match Team Lobby & Team Selection¶
Immediately after successfully initializing or joining a room, players are placed inside the active matchmaking lobby environment (image #5):
- Team Selection Grid: Players can manually sort themselves or swap sides between the Blue Team or the Red Team by clicking on the respective team direction arrows.
- Gameplay Mechanics (Team Only): The paintball activity functions strictly on a competitive team vs team basis (there is no solo mode). Players must be distributed across both factions to ensure balanced competition.
- Launching the Match: When the teams are balanced and ready for battle, the lobby host can click the central
▶ PLAY MATCHbutton to instantly start the game in that specific instance. - Additional Options: From this dashboard, you can leave the room entirely by clicking on Quit Lobby or modify the rules by clicking on Lobby Settings.
Updating Settings While Waiting¶
If adjustments to the map or settings are needed while players are waiting in the room, clicking Lobby Settings opens up the edit panel (image #6). To apply and save the new rules live, click the green + Update Lobby button.
The Paintball Market¶
Under the Market section (image #3), you gain access to the equipment options and weapon styles you can deploy with into the arena:
- Weapon Categories: Choose between different firearms types suitable for your playstyle, including the Paintball SMG, Paintball Rifle, Paintball Pump (Shotgun), or Paintball Pistol.
