Leader Rules

Important

Interpreting the rules abusively or in the unfair advantage of a leader is not allowed. The staff has the right to interpret the rules according to context, to ensure their correct and fair application.

The staff reserves the right to modify these rules at any time and as often as deemed necessary, the modifications being announced on the discord channel dedicated to leader announcements.

General Characteristics

1. Obtaining the Leader Rank

1.1 The leader rank is granted depending on the activity, involvement and behavior of players, through two main methods.

(1) Direct Appointment by Staff:

  • in case a faction is empty or has a very small number of active members, the leader will be chosen exclusively by the staff responsible for factions.

The selection is made based on the following criteria:

  • general activity on the server.
  • contributions made to the community.
  • seniority.
  • lack of sanctions (especially serious ones).
  • maturity and behavior.
  • organizational and thinking capacity.

(2) Competitive System (Mandate):

  • in case the faction has enough active members, the choice of leader is made through a competitive system based on activity.

Mandate Duration:

  • A leader's mandate lasts 30 days:
    • 27 days as active leader.
    • 3 days as interim leader.

Competition Period:

  • in the last 3 days of the mandate, the leader becomes interim.
  • during this period, faction members can enter into a competition for the leader position.

Conditions of Participation:

  • initially, all eligible members can participate (ex: minimum rank 1).
  • subsequently, the staff may impose additional conditions (ex: minimum rank 3), depending on the evolution of the faction.

Points System:

The winner is determined based on a points and activity system, obtained from:

  • activity report (daily/weekly activity in the faction).
  • played hours during the competition period.
  • involvement in faction actions.
  • correct management of responsibilities (for the leader in office).
  • administrative activity:
    • managing applications.
    • responding to complaints.
    • involvement in faction organization.

Establishment of the Leader:

  • if a member obtains more points than the interim leader:
    • the current leader is demoted.
    • the player with the most points becomes the new leader.
  • if no participant exceeds the leader:
    • they keep their position for a new mandate.

Important

  • participation in the competition is optional.
  • the competition takes place only if there are members who choose to participate.
  • the staff reserves the right to:
    • modify the conditions of participation.
    • adjust the points system.
    • intervene in exceptional cases.

2. Duration of the Leader Function

2.1 Leaders who resign or fail to keep their position throughout the entire Mandate (30 days) will be dismissed with Faction Punish 120.

This rule was established to ensure accountability from those who accept such positions and to make them understand their importance.

3. Leader Activity

3.1 Leaders who have not connected to the server for at least 3 days without having an inactivity request or notifying the staff responsible for factions of the situation will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and dismissal if they continue.

3.2 Leaders who have not been in the position for at least one week cannot make an inactivity request. The maximum duration of an inactivity request is 7 days, with the right to a single request per Mandate.

3.3 Interim leaders are not entitled to inactivity requests. If they opt for inactivity at the end of the mandate, any days that overlap with the interim leader period are not included in the inactivity.

3.4 Inactivity requests are made in the Inactivities section of your faction, on the website. You are asked to tag the staff responsible for factions on discord to respond to you.

4. Account Security

4.1 In case another person gains access to the Leader account, you will be removed from the position with 3 Leader Warns and 120 Faction Punish.

4.2 If abuses occur from the account, regardless of who was on the account, license ban between 14 days and permanent will be granted.

4.3 As a Leader you have the obligation to activate 2FA from the website in the Security tab on your profile. Once activated it can no longer be deactivated during the function except by an Admin 6, however it can be deactivated after giving up the position.

5. Leader Behavior

5.1 Leaders have the obligation to have decent behavior and language, in accordance with the server rules about Behavior and Language, wherever they may come into contact with other players or colleagues: game, website, discord.

We recommend using the block option (which is present on almost every platform, including ours on the server on the phone) on persons who bother you or cause you discomfort instead of responding in the same way, to avoid situations that may lead to sanctions.

Important

The staff is the only one able to decide, based on the proofs and information provided, where a conflict started and whether a leader exceeded the limits imposed by the rules and deserves to be sanctioned.

Conversations from outside the game in which you intentionally provoked the Leader or which are not related to our server will not be taken into consideration.

Failure to Comply

Depending on the severity of the language used the staff will decide which is the appropriate sanction according to the following criteria:

  • excessive minor things that exceed the limits of common sense will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning.
  • things of medium severity will be sanctioned with Leader Warn.
  • things of grave severity will be sanctioned with dismissal.

5.2 It is strictly forbidden for a Leader to ask for or accept compensation of any kind from other players to favor or disadvantage a faction member. We make reference here, but not limited to: granting of sanctions, deletion of sanctions, promotions, demotions, granting of subleader, etc.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rule will lead to dismissal.

6. Resignation from the Position

6.1 The Leader can opt to resign from the position during the Mandate through a resignation request, however they will be dismissed with Faction Punish 120.

6.2 To leave the position without Faction Punish the leader must be replaced at the end of the Mandate by another member who enters into competition with them and wins the competition.

Important

Resignation requests are made on discord in the leaders section on the resignations channel.

In exceptional cases where there is no member who wishes to enter into competition with the leader and the latter wishes to give up, the staff will find a replacement from outside the faction.

Subleaders

7. Choosing Subleaders

7.1 Each Leader has the right to choose a single subleader (Rank 6).

In the case of departments the Leader has all 3 departments under their leadership, therefore they will have one subleader for each department.

7.2 We give the Leader free hand to choose any subleader they want from within their faction, even to recruit someone from outside if they have available spots.

7.3 Players recruited from outside the faction to be promoted as subleaders do not need to take the faction entrance test.

Important

The freedom is not absolute and a Leader should not choose persons who have sanctions for serious rule violations or multiple sanctions.

The staff will intervene if the rules of common sense are exceeded and will sanction the leader with Leader Warn and demotion of the chosen subleader, also losing the possibility to choose another new one for the next 7 days.

8. Replacing Subleaders

8.1 The subleader can be changed at minimum 7 days from the promotion of the last subleader. The Leader has the freedom to decide for what reasons they change the subleader.

The same duration of 7 days from the last promotion must also be waited when the subleader has left the faction.

8.2 The subleader cannot be replaced during the Leader's interim period.

8.3 Upon demotion of the subleader they will receive the rank according to the seniority they have in the faction and the rules about promoting members.

The Faction Discord

9. Discord Generalities

9.1 The entire faction will use the section specially created on the server's discord, by no means other private servers in this regard.

9.2 Roles are assigned automatically upon promotion or dismissal of the Leader as well as the faction members.

9.3 Important things within the faction that must be known by everyone must be announced on the dedicated announcement channels.

10. Discord Channels

10.1 The faction benefits from the following channels:

  • announcements: channel with writing rights only from the Leader, which the Leader will use to make announcements of interest to faction members.

  • chat: channel with writing rights for all faction members. On this channel members are free to discuss things that do not pertain to the faction as well, while respecting the rules for the use of discord. The Leader must take care of this channel and any conflicts that may arise, by smoothing them out or reporting them to the staff through the /report command.

  • ask: channel with writing rights for all members, where they will post questions strictly related to the faction and where only the subject of the questions will be answered. Leaders must not allow the use of this channel for off-topic discussions, spam or other things of this kind.

10.2 There are also common channels between multiple factions.

On their announcement channels only Leaders are allowed to write. On the chat channels please monitor the members and ensure they comply with the rules for the use of discord. Leaders must take care of these channels and any conflicts that may arise, by smoothing them out or reporting them to the staff through the /report command.

10.3 If other channels will be necessary for a better organization of the faction, you can request this from the staff responsible for factions which will make a request further to Admins 6.

Recruitments

11. Opening Applications

11.1 Applications can be opened when there is at least one available spot.

11.2 Leaders have the obligation to open applications when the faction has at least 5 free spots.

11.3 If the Leader does not have an approved inactivity request and does not recruit for 5 days when the faction has at least 5 free spots they will be sanctioned.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones.

12. Closing Applications

Applications can be closed when at least one of the following conditions is met:

12.1 Minimum 12 hours from opening in the case of manual openings or those with time limit.

12.2 When at least the number of available spots plus minimum 2 more people have applied in case of openings based on application limit (ex: if the faction has 2 free spots, minimum 4 candidates will be recruited).

12.3 When they were opened strictly to recruit a subleader.

Information

If you want to open applications with time limit + candidate limit, set the time limit to minimum 12 hours and the candidate limit to the number of available spots + 2.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones.

13. Application Response

(1) Minimum Acceptance Requirements

  • have a decent application, not written mockingly in under 1 minute.
  • not violate the rules regarding Content on the Website.
  • not have received a ban after the application was opened.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones.

(2) Application Response

  • Pinned applications will have priority in receiving a response, after that the normal applications (the order in which you respond does not matter).
    • this priority consists only in receiving a response first, DOES NOT GUARANTEE in any way the acceptance of these candidates.
  • all applications must receive a response within 48 hours of their closing.
  • all players must receive a substantiated and argued response for rejection, possible rejection reasons being:
    • content written with AI.
    • poor activity of the player.
    • recent sanctions.
    • toxic behavior.
    • recently dismissed from the same faction.
    • application written mockingly.
    • multiple sanctions in the last factions.
    • failed tests at the last accepted applications (recently).
    • etc.
  • in the same recruitment session it is forbidden to accept a candidate who does not meet the same requirements for which another candidate was rejected.
  • (!!!) IMPORTANT: Mention to the player a time interval in which they can take the tests and one or more testers they can contact for tests. They have 48 hours available to take the tests, but they must receive a relatively decent and flexible interval in which to find testers.

Information

You must try to be as objective as possible in choosing candidates and to give equal chances to those who meet or do not meet the same conditions. From two players with poor activity you cannot in the same session accept one but reject the other.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones.

14. Testing Candidates

14.1 If more candidates have applied than the maximum of available spots in the faction, separation will be made between them depending on the number of mistakes at the entrance test.

14.2 In case separation based on mistakes is not possible because they are tied, duels can be held between the respective candidates to separate them.

14.3 Only members designated by the leader as Testers have the right to take tests with candidates.

14.4 Testers have the obligation to record full proofs with the tests they perform and to keep them for 5 days, presenting them at the request of the Leader or staff.

In the absence of proofs the candidate will take the tests again and the tester will be sanctioned with rank down and removal of the tester status for the current mandate.

14.5 For a clearer record of tested players and their results, testers will publish the results for each tested candidate shortly after the completion of the tests on the discord server in the specific channel of test logs.

(1) Testing Rules

  • candidates accepted for tests have 48 hours to present themselves for testing or they will be marked as failed for non-presentation.
  • a knowledge test of the rules will be taken with a test log approved by the leader.
    • the test log must be of medium difficulty, to ensure the candidate's knowledge of the basic rules.
    • you have the right to make a set of test logs so that not all candidates take the test with a single test log, to avoid fraud.
  • the tester has the obligation to inform the candidate about the rules for taking the test and to ask for confirmation that they have understood them, something which must also exist in the tester's proof.
  • tests will be taken objectively, without discrimination or differentiation between players.
  • in case the test is taken incorrectly, the tester will be sanctioned and the candidate must be retested with another tester.
  • in case the test log does not fit the rules, does not respect the information from the rules, the leader is the one who will be held responsible.
  • in case the candidate is active on the server but does not manage to find any tester to take the tests, despite presenting themselves in the intervals mentioned by the Leader, their duration for testing will be extended by another 24 hours and the Leader will be held responsible.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones in case of mistakes made by the leader.

(2) The Theoretical Test

  • the test will contain 10 questions of medium difficulty from the faction's rules, to test the candidate's basic knowledge.
  • the response time per question is 1 minute.
  • tests must be taken in a setting where other people who do not have tester status in the faction cannot interfere or see the discussions between the tester and the candidate.
  • tests cannot be taken at a distance, the tester and the candidate must be next to each other when the tests are taken.
  • at 3 penalty points the candidate will be rejected.
    • penalty points can be granted as follows:
      • 1 point for wrong answer or absence of an answer in the given time.
      • 0.5 points (half a point) for partially correct answers.
      • 1 point for disconnection from the server (the candidate will be given 5 minutes to return to the server and contact the tester).
  • candidates caught trying to defraud the tests will be failed on the grounds of fraud.
    • possible reasons for fraud:
      • obtaining the faction's test log.
      • being knowingly favored by the tester.
      • being helped by friends to answer the questions.

(3) The Practical Test

  • it is an optional test which the Leader of each faction decides whether is necessary or not.
  • in case practical test is opted for, all candidates from that recruitment session will take it.
  • the rules of the practical test will be conceived by the Leader, respecting the following requirements:
    • the test should be at most of medium difficulty, not impossible to perform.
    • the test must not last excessively long or contain too many tasks.
    • the test must be equal for everyone, without making discrimination or favoritism.
    • the test must have a direct connection with the actions that take place within the faction.

Sanctions

15. Member Logs

15.1 All reasons that you can manually enter in the logs that appear in the faction as well as on the player's profile must be of common sense and on the subject of that log's action.

Note the concrete reason for the sanction (incorrect wanted, incorrect test, inactivity, language, etc.).

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones in case of mistakes made by the leader.

16. Sanctioning Members

16.1 The Leader has the obligation to sanction the member correctly when they violate the rules of the server or of the faction as mentioned by the rules.

16.2 In case situations arise that are not provided for by the rules, the staff responsible for factions must be contacted who will specify how to proceed and will update the rules if necessary.

  • favoring or discriminating against certain members within the faction will be sanctioned.
  • it is forbidden to delete the sanctions of a member who has an active complaint or who must receive a new sanction.
  • when deleting a sanction, a promotion, demotion, etc. account will also be taken of the time at which the sanction was received, the invite.

16.3 For sanctions granted directly by the Leader, based on facts observed in the game:

  • the Leader is obligated to hold a valid proof for the applied sanction.
  • the proof must be kept for a minimum period of 5 days.
  • the proof must be presented at the request of the staff.

Failure to Comply

If the Leader has sanctioned a member and does not have proof of the sanction or has sanctioned them incorrectly, the member's sanction will be deleted.

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones in case of mistakes made by the leader.

17. Resignations

17.1 All resignation requests must receive a response within at most 24 hours of their opening, except when the Leader has an inactivity request, at which point they will have 24 hours from the expiry of the inactivity to respond.

17.2 Members with a resignation request are exempt from attending mandatory faction activities if they created the request before them (meetings, training, events, etc.).

17.3 It is forbidden to accept resignation requests of members who have active complaints (website or private messages sent to the leader). All active complaints are responded to first, all sanctions that the member must receive are given (including sanctions they must receive outside of complaints) and then the resignation request is responded to.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones in case of mistakes made by the leader.

Complaints and Activity Report

18. Complaints

18.1 Leaders have the obligation to respond to all complaints addressed to their members within at most 48 hours of their opening.

If the Leader has an inactivity request they will have 24 hours from the expiry of the request to respond to complaints.

18.2 In the situation where the Leader has uncertainties related to the complaint and turns to the staff for help without receiving a response from them within those 48 hours then the respective duration no longer applies.

18.3 The complaint of the member with an inactivity request will remain open until 24 hours after the expiry of the request.

18.4 Proofs from complaints must comply with the rules about Proofs, otherwise the complaints will be rejected.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones in case of mistakes made by the leader.

19. Activity Report

19.1 The activity report is established by mutual agreement with the staff depending on the general activity of the members. The Leader can propose modifications to the staff, however only the staff can modify the activity report.

19.2 Sanctions for not completing the activity report are granted automatically.

19.3 The Leader will periodically check the logs of the activity report points to prevent possible abuse situations and to inform the staff about these things.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones in case of mistakes made by the leader.

Promotions and Spots

20. Promotion Rules

20.1 The durations below are the minimum durations that must be waited. The Leader can delay the promotion of a member only based on a concrete reason, justifiable through proofs.

20.2 Admins will make promotions only when the Leader has accepted inactivity or when the faction does not have a Leader.

20.3 The number of promotion days represents the number of days a member must wait from the last promotion to acquire the new rank.

20.4> A Faction Warn adds 7 extra days to the minimum promotion duration.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones in case of mistakes made by the leader.

21. Available Spots

21.1 The total number of spots for each faction is established by the staff.

21.2 The Leader can ask the staff for adjustment of the number of spots depending on the current needs. For example if the faction is always full and recruits very rarely, the number of spots can be increased upon request. If the faction always has problems being filled and kept full, the number of spots can be decreased.

Other Rules

22. General Rules

22.1 Leaders have the obligation to comply with the Server Rules, these rules as well as the specific rules of the faction they are part of.

22.2 Reporting a fellow Leader as well as Admin is done by contacting a responsible admin from the server staff or through a ticket. Reporting in the complaints section on the website is forbidden, this being sanctioned with Leader Warn.

22.3 It is strictly forbidden for a Leader to Wipe the faction without approval from the admin responsible for factions. This will be considered as function abuse and sanctioned with license ban between 14 days and permanent.

22.4 A Leader can play from another character (account) in another faction different from the one they lead.

22.3 Faction Leaders are not allowed to be part of Mafias, not even with another character (secondary account) because conflicts of interest may arise (sanction: Leader Warn).

22.4 A leader's sanctions will only be deleted when the staff considers that you deserve this. You can ask if a sanction can be deleted, however without insisting on this.

23. Organized Activities

23.1 You have the right to organize activities within the faction to increase activity, create better relations between colleagues, discuss various topics related to the faction (meetings).

23.2 Activities must be announced on discord on the announcements channel with minimum 48 hours before they take place.

23.3 Activities must be scheduled at hours when most members could be present. We recommend creating a poll on discord about this prior to deciding to organize an activity.

23.4 Members are entitled to 2 absences per Mandate from organized activities, absences which must be made on discord on the absence request channel before the actual activity.

23.5 The maximum duration of an organized activity must not exceed one hour.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the above rules will be sanctioned with Verbal Warning at the first offence and Leader Warn at subsequent ones in case of mistakes made by the leader.

Exceptions

24. The Right to Exceptions

24.1 The rules cover most situations, however there may be unforeseen cases where staff intervention is necessary to maintain the balance of the game.

24.2 The staff reserves the right to make exceptions to the rules, when the situation requires it, to protect:

  • the balance of the server.
  • the gaming experience.
  • the affected players.

24.3 Level 6 admins have the right to apply:

  • sanctions different from those provided in the rules.
  • sanctions adapted to the situation, at their own discretion.

These decisions will be made without abuse of power, in the interest of the server and the community.

24.4 Level 6 admins can grant approvals to other admins to apply sanctions different from the rules, if the situation requires it.
