Crafting System

The Crafting System allows players to manufacture their own items, weapons, or equipment by gathering resources and utilizing dedicated work stations across the server.

Viewing Stations and Production Queues (/crafting)

To manage your manufacturing flow without constantly driving to locations, you can type the /crafting command in chat. This directly opens the dedicated panel inside your menu (My Stuff -> Crafting):

Main Dashboard Features

  • Production Tracking (Crafting Status): At the top, you can monitor your items using the status counters:
    • Ready to Collect: Completed items waiting to be picked up at the physical station.
    • In Progress: Items currently undergoing the manufacturing process.
    • Waiting: Items placed inside the manufacturing queue.
  • Your Queue: The central section displays a detailed breakdown of your queued manufacturing jobs. If no manufacturing is active, it will display "Nothing in your crafting queue".
  • Station Locator (Crafting Stations): Located on the right, it lists active stations sorted by proximity to your current position (ex: Crafting Station #4 - 16m).
  • GPS Navigation System: Click the GPS button next to any station or use the prominent GPS to nearest station shortcut to instantly plot a route on your minimap to the closest workbench.

Physical Interaction with the Crafting Station

Once you arrive at the designated GPS location, you will find a custom manufacturing workbench:

To access the active manufacturing menu, you must step inside the green circle located at the base of the workbench and press the E key.

Starting and Collecting

While the /crafting command allows you to monitor queues and find stations from anywhere on the map, starting a crafting job and collecting finished items can only be performed physically by interacting directly with the station using the E key.

Manufacturing Interface (Station Menu)

Upon pressing the E key inside the green circle, your screen will display the main item creation interface:

  • Materials Inventory (Top Bar): Shows a real-time count of the raw resources currently in your inventory (ex: iron, wood, components) alongside your available Blueprints. !!! tip "Material Sources" Hovering your cursor over any material icon on this top bar will trigger a tooltip telling you exactly which civilian job or server activity awards that specific resource.
  • Weapons Skill Progress: The top-right corner displays your character's current weapon tier (ex: Weapons Skill 1 (6/500)), which is required to unlock higher-tier items.
  • Recipe Catalog (Left Side): Allows you to filter recipes by category (All, Weapons, Weapon Skins, Perks, etc.). Each card shows its baseline craft time (ex: 1m 30s).
  • Station Crafting Queue (Right Side): Tracks your active production line running at this specific workbench.

Progression Restrictions & Locked Recipes

Not all blueprints are readily accessible. If your overall weapons tier is insufficient, higher-tier items will remain restricted:

  • Locked Recipes: These appear in the catalog under a lock status accompanied by the red requirement string: "REQUIRES WEAPONS SKILL X" (ex: Requires Weapons Skill 2, 3, 4, etc.).

Recipe Selection & Manufacturing Example

When you click on an available recipe from the catalog on the left, the center and lower-right layouts will automatically populate with its production configurations:

  • Details & Compatibility (Center): For the selected item (ex: Luxury Security Skin), the dashboard details its item type, hardware compatibility parameters (Compatible with Micro SMG), and the precise processing time (1M 30S).
  • Required Materials (Bottom Right): Displays the exact resources needed alongside a comparative view of your inventory reserves versus production costs (ex: owning 1969 Gold bars out of the 5 required). Green labeling highlights that resource thresholds are successfully met.
  • Initiating Production: If your inventory meets all material criteria, click the green Start crafting button located at the bottom of the center window to add the item directly into the active workbench queue.

You can safely exit the crafting interface at any time by pressing the ESC key or clicking the X button in the top-right corner.
