Discord Rules¶

Important

By joining our Discord server you agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use, the Privacy Policy as well as full compliance with all the rules mentioned here.

Interpreting the rules abusively or in the user's unfair advantage is not allowed. The staff has the right to interpret the rules according to context, to ensure their correct and fair application.

The staff reserves the right to modify these rules at any time and as often as deemed necessary, the modifications being announced or not depending on how it considers fit. The user assumes the obligation to constantly check the rules and to comply with any new modification made.

The /report Function

Discord server users can use the /report command in chat to signal to staff violations of the rules.

General Rules¶

1. Account Names¶

1.1 It is mandatory that the account name complies with the following conditions:

be decent and respectful, without offensive, vulgar, racist or discriminatory connotations.
not be identical or very similar to another player's name, especially that of a staff member, to avoid confusion.
the use of names that imitate or suggest belonging to the staff is forbidden (ex: Admin, Leader, Staff etc.).
the name must be easy to read and identify, without excessive combinations of symbols or meaningless characters.

Failure to Comply

The sanction will be according to the gravity of the offence:

in case of minor offences (ex: name hard to read, excessive combinations of characters, name too similar to another player's), the player will be asked to change the name. In case of refusal or non-compliance, the player will receive a new name in accordance with the rules at the admin's choice and:
- 1 warn at the first offence.
- 7 day ban at the second offence.
- permanent ban at the third offence.
in case of very serious offences, made intentionally (ex: vulgar name, very racist or name chosen to imitate a staff member), the sanction will be permanent ban, without prior warning.

The staff reserves the right to decide the gravity of the offence and the sanction applied in each case.

2. Trades¶

2.1 Discussions related to Forbidden Trades are forbidden, only discussions related to Permitted Trades being allowed.

Failure to Comply

Violation of the above rules will be sanctioned with permanent ban.

3. Scams¶

3.1 Any attempt of scam on the Discord server is strictly forbidden and severely sanctioned.

3.2 The distribution of any deceptive or potentially dangerous content is forbidden.

3.3 Players are responsible for the security of their own accounts.

3.4 In case an account is compromised, the user is responsible for the actions performed by that account.

The following are considered scam, but not limited to:

distribution of suspicious or dangerous links, including:
- links from compromised (hacked) accounts.
- invitations to unknown or suspicious Discord servers.
- phishing-type sites (ex: fake raffles, fake giveaways).
- links to mods / modpacks infected with viruses or malware.
falsely claiming to be:
- a member of the staff.
- a representative of the server.
- or any other person, with the aim of deceiving other players.
any attempt to trick players into:
- giving their personal data or account data.
- accessing dangerous links.
- downloading suspicious files.
- performing actions that may compromise their accounts or security.
any action that may lead to:
- loss of accounts (Discord, game etc.).
- application of sanctions to the deceived player.
- compromising personal security.

Failure to Comply

Violation of the above rules will be sanctioned according to the gravity of the deed with warn, mute 24 hours or permanent ban.

4. Behavior and Language¶

Behavior towards Other Users¶

4.1 The rules regarding behavior towards other discord users are the same as the General Rules of the FiveM server.

Failure to Comply

Depending on the severity of the language used the staff will decide which is the appropriate sanction according to the following criteria:

minor things that exceed the limits of common sense in front of an admin sanctioned with warn.
things of medium severity will be sanctioned with mute 30 minutes.
things of grave severity will be sanctioned with mute 24 hours.
advertising done indirectly may be warned about by the staff, and is to be sanctioned if it continues, while intentional advertising will be sanctioned with ban between 14 days and permanent.

Behavior towards Staff¶

4.2 The rules regarding behavior towards the community staff are the same as the Behavior towards Staff of the FiveM server.

Failure to Comply

Depending on the severity of the language used the staff will decide which is the appropriate sanction according to the following criteria:

minor things that exceed the limits of common sense will be sanctioned with warn or mute 30 minutes.
things of medium severity will be sanctioned with mute 24 hours.
things of grave severity will be sanctioned with ban between 1-7 days.

Permitted Languages¶

4.3 The languages permitted on our discord server, on public chats, are: Romanian and English.

Failure to comply with the rules mentioned above will be sanctioned with warn and if it continues with mute 30 minutes.

Spamming¶

4.4 The rules regarding spam are the same as the Spamming rules of the FiveM server.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the rules mentioned above will be sanctioned with warn and if it continues with mute 30 minutes.

Doxxing¶

4.5 The rules regarding the transmission of personal data (doxxing) are the same as the Doxxing rules of the FiveM server.

Failure to Comply

We consider doxxing as an extremely serious matter and we do not want players to mix personal data from a player's life with the game or the discord server. For this reason violation of this rule will have extremely serious consequences and will be sanctioned without discussion with permanent ban.

Toxicity¶

4.6 The rules regarding toxicity are the same as the Toxicity rules of the FiveM server.

Failure to Comply

Depending on the number of offences and their severity the staff will sanction toxicity with ban from 7 days to permanent, with the prohibition of entering our discord server again.

The /report Command¶

4.7 The /report command is intended for signaling to staff violations of the discord server rules and must be used responsibly.

4.8 The abusive use of the command is forbidden, including:

sending repeated reports without reason (spam).
opening reports "as a joke" or without a real purpose.
using the command as a joke.
reporting minor situations that do not require staff intervention.

Failure to Comply

Depending on the gravity of the deed the admin can choose between:

for minor things the player will receive warn.
for ignoring staff warnings or serious offences the player will receive mute 24 hours.
if the user reoffends after the mute sanction, they will be sanctioned with 7 day ban.

NSFW Content¶

4.9 Publishing content or links with vulgar or pornographic materials is strictly forbidden.

Failure to Comply

Violation of this rule will be sanctioned with permanent ban.

Voice Chat¶

5. Voice Channels¶

5.1 Voice channels must be used in a civilized manner, without intentionally disturbing other users.

any troll-type behavior that disrupts communication is forbidden, including:
- playing music or annoying sounds through the microphone.
- shouting, blowing into the microphone or producing loud noises.
- hitting the microphone or simulating unpleasant sounds.
- intentional use of sounds to disturb or annoy other users.
the following are forbidden:
- constant interruption of conversations.
- repeated disruption of the communication of other players.
the following are forbidden:
- repeated moving between channels with the aim of disturbing or annoying other users.
- any behavior meant to create discomfort on the voice channels.

Failure to Comply

Violation of this rule will be sanctioned with mute 24 hours.

In serious or repeated cases the user can receive 7 day ban.

Other Rules¶

6. Function Abuse¶

6.1 By function abuse it is understood the inappropriate use of the privileges offered by a function held on discord, intentionally and without justified reason.

This rule applies to all users who hold roles with access over other accounts or other privileges, including, but not limited to:

Admins, who can:
- grant unjustified sanctions.
- intervene abusively over multiple users.
- who can send mentions @everyone, @here, other roles, can bypass slowmode, create polls and others.
Faction leaders, who can:
- who can send mentions @everyone, @here, other roles, can bypass slowmode, create polls and others.

Any repeated action or one that affects multiple accounts, made without correct grounds or in personal interest is considered function abuse.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with the rules mentioned above will be sanctioned with ban between 14 days and permanent on discord as well as on the FiveM server.

7. Off-topic¶

7.1 The use of channels dedicated to a certain type of content other than for the purpose intended for those channels is forbidden.

Failure to comply with the rules mentioned above will be sanctioned with warn and if it continues with mute 30 minutes.

8. The Warn System¶

8.1 Our discord server uses a warn system that can be granted automatically by the implemented auto-moderation system or manually by the discord staff.

8.2 Received warns have a validity of 45 days before they expire.

Warn Consequences¶

8.3 Depending on the number of warns received in the last 40 days the consequences are as follows:

1 warn: you will receive a warning message from the bot.
2 warns: mute 15 minutes.
3 warns: mute 30 minutes.
4 warns: mute 1 hour.
5 warns: mute 12 hours.
6 warns: mute 2 days.
7 warns: mute 7 days.
8 warns: ban 14 days.
9 warns: ban 30 days.
10 or more warns: ban 90 days.

Exceptions¶

9. The Right to Exceptions¶

9.1 The rules cover most situations, however there may be unforeseen cases where staff intervention is necessary to maintain the balance of the discord server.

9.2 The staff reserves the right to make exceptions to the rules, when the situation requires it, to protect:

the balance of the discord server.
the experience on the server.
affected users.

9.3 Level 6 admins (Developer, Community Manager or equivalent role) have the right to apply:

sanctions different from those provided in the rules.
sanctions adapted to the situation, at their own discretion.

These decisions will be made without abuse of power, in the interest of the server and the community.

9.4 Level 6 admins (Developer, Community Manager or equivalent role) can grant approvals to other admins to apply sanctions different from the rules, if the situation requires it.

9.5 Certain rules violated on the discord server can have sanctions also within the FiveM server, usually concerning serious rule violations.
